I feel a bit stupid about including this, but let me get it out of the way.
Let me lay this out in the open and be clear about something:
Yes, I did graduate from a seminary of the ELCA.
Yes, I have in the past, served as Pastor of a congregation of the ELCA.
Yes, hopefully I will again (SOON PLEASE) serve as Pastor of a different congregation of the ELCA.
But let me be clear about this:
I do not, in any terms what-so-ever speak for, or represent the ELCA on this site. The views expressed on this site, even, and perhaps particularly those of a religious nature, are my own (or whoever else I may have stolen them from) they are not to be understood as the views of the ELCA, or any other church body.
That is not to say that my views and those of the ELCA are significantly out of sync, or that there is not room within the ELCA for my, or other, viewpoints. But I do not speak for the ELCA.
This is my personal site. It is here where I share my recent news and personal views on various issues. Much of it is presented in a somewhat satirical manner that is not generally a significant part of my professional demeanor. This is in some respects a place where I let my hair down, cut through the political garbage that pervades my work, and present my views a bit more candidly than I might in another context. This is not intended to be a church affiliated site, though it may well contain information that relates to the church.
